“Psalm 115:3 reveals, ‘Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.” Yet we keep on questioning Him: ‘Why did You make me with this body, instead of that one?’ ‘Why are so many people dying of starvation?’ ‘Why are there so many planets with nothing living on them?’ ‘Why is my family so messed up?’ ‘Why don’t You make Yourself more obvious to the people who need You?’
The answer to each of these questions is simply this: because He’s God. He has more of a right to ask us why so many people are starving.”
- Francis Chan, Crazy Love
I’ve been lacking on my reading lately and have put off some must reads for quite some time. The list of books I want to read but “just haven’t had enough time,” has gotten to be a pretty heft length.
First up Crazy Love by Francis Chan. I know I’m pretty far behind the curve on this one, but better late then never. I’ll be posting my thoughts and great excerpts I find throughout the read. Extremely excited for this one.

In a world of 140 characters and less, having a blog makes a statement. It kinda says to the world, “Hey, I’ve got something to say here. Something beyond a tweet, or a facebook status.”
With that said, I should probably find something to say.
